Connect HubSpot

Connect your HubSpot account to TalkToCRM and automatically sync call summaries, action items, and follow-up tasks to your CRM.

Before you start

Open Integrations settings

Log in to TalkToCRM and navigate to SettingsIntegrations. You'll see the available CRM providers.

Click "Connect with HubSpot"

Click the Connect with HubSpot button. You'll be redirected to HubSpot's authorization page.

Authorize permissions

HubSpot will ask you to authorize TalkToCRM to access your CRM data. Review the permissions and click Connect app.

TalkToCRM requests access to:

  • Contacts — to search and match call participants
  • Companies — to associate summaries with the right company
  • Deals — to link conversations to active deals
  • Notes & Tasks — to sync call summaries and follow-up items

Configure sync settings

After authorization, you'll be returned to TalkToCRM's HubSpot settings page. Here you can configure:

  • Summary destination — sync as a Note, Call activity, or Meeting activity
  • Task destination — create follow-up tasks from action items, or disable
  • Task mode — individual tasks per action item, or one grouped task

Start recording and syncing

You're all set. Record a call or upload an audio file in TalkToCRM. Once the AI generates a summary, match it to a HubSpot contact and sync it with one click — or let TalkToCRM sync automatically when a match is found.

Troubleshooting

"Authorization was denied"

Make sure you have admin or super admin access in HubSpot. Standard users may not have permission to install third-party apps.

"Connection failed"

Try disconnecting and reconnecting. If the issue persists, check that your HubSpot account is active and contact us at [email protected].

Summaries not appearing in HubSpot

Verify that you've matched the conversation to a HubSpot contact and that sync is enabled in your integration settings. Summaries only sync to matched contacts.
